The steam extraction needs to extend to include the door when your dishwasher is open to properly remove steam.

To circumvent this, you can opt for a pass-through dishwasher with a built-in extraction canopy.

It depends on the model you choose, as each will have slightly different settings and cycle lengths. However, the differences are usually very small, with models ranging from 60 to 75 seconds for the shorter cycle and 120 to 180 seconds for the longest.
