Production kitchens and caterers want the frozen stock on the line, not down the hall in a store room. Our 4 door bench freezers do that at under bench height, with stainless tops you can work on. Delivered anywhere in Australia.

A four door bench freezer is the longest unit in the format, and it keeps most of the cabinet closed while one section is in use, which helps hold temperature through a long service. Each door position can take drawers instead, three to a door, so a twelve drawer unit is the same cabinet as a four door. For the size below, see 3 door bench freezers; the whole format is in commercial under counter freezers.

These are the top FAQs for 4 Door Bench Freezers

Do I need four doors?

When the line runs several sections at once, or when a three door unit is opened constantly through service.

Four doors is also the largest bench freezer we stock. A five door cabinet runs past 2.7 m, which is wider than a truck, so getting one delivered is very difficult.

Will it fit through the door?

Measure the doorway, corridor and any lift against the crated dimensions, not the cabinet size.

Two smaller units may be the practical answer; see 2 door bench freezers.

Manual or automatic defrost?

Automatic defrost saves labour and keeps performance steady, which matters in a busy kitchen. Manual defrost units cost less and suit freezers that are opened rarely.

Either way, ice build-up means a seal or airflow problem rather than a defrost problem.

How do I know when a door seal needs replacing?

Look for ice building around the door, condensation on the frame, or a seal that no longer grips paper closed in the door. A failing seal makes the compressor run constantly and frosts the cabinet.

Seals are replaceable on most cabinets, and it is the cheapest repair there is.

Why is one section warmer than the rest?

Do not block airflow inside, keep stock below the load line, and clean the condenser regularly.

Monitor with fridge and freezer thermometers.
